History
National Protestant College was founded as an elementary school in 1949, and it was located in Ras Beirut. Gradually, it became a secondary school for girls. In 1955, another mixed elementary school was founded, and it gradually became a secondary school for boys. When the girls reached the intermediate cycle, they would join the girl’s school. In 1967, the school moved to Dbyeh as a mixed secondary school. In 1975, the Lebanese War started, and the school had to move once again to various rented premises in Beirut until 1997, when the Schools Committee decided to keep an elementary branch in Ras Beirut and run a complete secondary school in Kfarshima.
