Egg Coloring at Moadieh

In this blessed season of Eastertide, joyful activity took place in Moadieh Center. A group of the Church ladies where warmly welcomed at Moadieh when they came with the eggs, the tools, the gloves and the egg coloring!!! With the residents they gathered around, filling the room with love and laughter and colored beautiful eggs to be shared on Easter Sunday for breakfast.

Eggs look like a stone of a tomb from outside, yet a bird hatches from it with life. It is in remembrance of Jesus who rose from the dead and gave life to those who believe.

We are blessed to have Easter people in our community, together we will always sing hallelujah!

Where We Are

Our Church is located in Downtown Beirut, at the downhill of Zokak al-Blat (also known as Rue de l’Église Évangelique), facing the Grand Serail (Sarayat Hukumi). Landmarks on either side of the Church are the building of the national conservatory (binayat conservatoire) and the headquarters of the UN/ESCWA. (Service) taxis and buses to Riad el-Solh Square generally pass by the Church.

In the basement of the Church, there is ample parking space for cars

Sunday Services

Sunday worship services in Arabic commence at 10.30 A.M. in the main sanctuary of the Church. At the same time, English Service is taking place at Charles Saad Hall, which is located below the main sanctuary. Sunday School service (3-13 years) is also taking place at the time of the Sunday worship service, 10:30 a.m. in Dar el-Kanisa Basement. And during Lent season, we have a Confirmation Class on Sundays in the Youth Hall for youth between 14 -16 years old.
